There’s something timeless about a Catholic wedding, and Alexia and Saul’s celebration at the Union Club Hotel at Purdue University was nothing short of legendary. Set in the heart of West Lafayette, this elegant Mexican Catholic wedding beautifully blended sacred tradition with modern luxury.

The day began with prep at the Union Club Hotel, where Alexia’s stunning gown with a dramatic bow detail took center stage in the suite’s stylish lighting. Her look was completed with a radiant pearl-studded veil and sparkling tiara that made her feel like royalty. Saul looked equally sharp in a navy tux, calm and collected as the excitement built.

Their traditional Catholic ceremony, held at a beautiful nearby church, was filled with meaning—from the exchange of vows to the symbolic lasso ritual that honored their cultural heritage. As a wedding photographer and videographer, it was an honor to capture those intimate, faith-filled moments.

After the ceremony, the energy shifted to celebration mode. The Purdue University fountain was the perfect backdrop for fun bridal party photos—one unforgettable shot featured the groomsmen lifting Alexia in front of the splash! Inside the Union Club Hotel’s reception space, guests were welcomed by elevated florals, gold accents, and one of the most jaw-dropping cakes I’ve seen—six tiers of pure elegance adorned with cascading white roses.

Alexia and Saul’s grand entrance was electric. You could feel the love and joy bouncing off the walls as they held hands and raised their arms in triumph. Every speech, every dance, every laugh added to the magic.
